This is a great song, really simple but very cool. it is worth

noting though that you could play this song using the fills i have

shown below or you can use the chords i've laid out here to play it,

either way works, and both are fine, so whichever you prefer.

secondly, there are one or two quick chord changes that can be a

little tricky to get at first, but listen to the song and you should

be fine with it after a full play through or two.

also, i have placed the chords right above the exact syllables where

the chord changes occur, again, listen to the song to get it right.

..okay here it is

Intro fill

e----------------------| ...played 4 times

B---------2--2-2-2-----|

G-3-3-3-0----------3-0-|

D----------------------|

A----------------------|

E----------------------|

Verse 1

D# G C A G

A long stone and my day’s all serpentine

D# G C A G

The tired tarnish in my chest rests sense of SARS

D# G C A G

And one dull dawn where they hum that splits its length

D# G C A G

Does my name sting your tongue? Now does it beg?

Refrain

D# G

oooo uh oooooh ooooo oohuhooo

A G

oooo uh oooooh ooooo oohuhooo..(play the refrain 4 times here)

repeat the intro fill 8 times

Verse 2..(chords are the same as verse 1)

Your thin frame has set my eyes to fray

On our dim stretch of this street, how it aches

For every grey and sad and taut to coil

And our frail eyes and there watch to finally talk

Repeat the refrain again

repeat the intro fill 8 times again

then play this second fill..twice

e-----1-0------1-0-1-0------|

B----------------------2-0--|

G-0-2------0-2--------------|

D---------------------------|

A---------------------------| ...X2

E---------------------------|

Verse 3..(same as verse 1 & 2)

One brash phrase cut crush these fragile days

My thoughts swirl in some shrill sad cannonade

And one such spur that caused my throat to creak

The one dull dawn that I’ve since sensed to repeat

Repeat the refrain again

repeat the intro fill 8 times again

then play this second fill..twice

e-----1-0------1-0-1-0------|

B----------------------2-0--|

G-0-2------0-2--------------|

D---------------------------|

A---------------------------| ...X2 to finish

E---------------------------|
